Encino Environmental Names Thad Scott as Chief Operating Officer
We are excited to announce a significant addition to our leadership team at Encino Environmental Services. Mr. Thad Scott has been appointed as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 5, 2024.
Mr. Scott brings with him over 25 years of invaluable global experience in the oil and gas industry. His impressive career includes serving on the executive team of Frank’s International, a well-known publicly traded oilfield service company, as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
His leadership extended to pivotal roles within the Blackhawk division, where he played a key role in international sales, operations, and product line management. Notably, Mr. Scott contributed significantly to the success of Blackhawk Specialty Tools, which was later acquired by Frank’s International in 2017.
Prior to his tenure with Frank’s International, Mr. Scott spent 15 years with Weatherford International, where he held various roles in product line management, manufacturing, operational excellence, learning & development, and recruiting. His early career at Weatherford saw him as a design engineer responsible for product design and development.
Mr. Scott is a recognized industry expert, holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He has authored multiple Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) papers and holds several U.S. patents, reflecting his commitment to innovation and thought leadership.
As our new COO, Mr. Scott will play a crucial role in guiding Encino Environmental Services towards continued success and growth. His global strategic vision, industry knowledge, and leadership acumen make him a valuable addition to our team.
