Recognition reflects the growing role of commercial satellite data in environmental intelligence, infrastructure monitoring, and methane detection.
Satlantis US, Encino Environmental Services’ partner in EmSat™ Satellite Methane Detection, has been selected by NASA as part of the Commercial Satellite Data Acquisition (CSDA) On-Ramp 2 Multiple Award Contract.
According to Satlantis, NASA selected Satlantis US as one of 14 companies under the contract, joining a group of industry leaders chosen to expand the range of commercial satellite data available to researchers, civil agencies, and decision-makers across the United States and beyond.

Satlantis US joins the contract with GEISAT and HORACIO satellite capabilities, which bring high-resolution, simultaneous VNIR and SWIR imaging to NASA’s Earth observation portfolio. These capabilities support a range of applications, including infrastructure monitoring, environmental surveillance, agricultural intelligence, and coastal monitoring.
For Encino, this recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the same forward-looking satellite capability supporting EmSat™ Satellite Methane Detection, the company’s joint venture with Satlantis.
EmSat™ brings satellite-based methane detection into emissions management by helping operators screen critical assets, monitor hard-to-reach infrastructure, and use high-quality imagery to support more targeted field response. As emissions expectations continue to evolve, satellite data can help companies strengthen visibility across large or remote operations and make more informed decisions about where field teams are needed most.
NASA’s selection of Satlantis US reinforces the growing value of commercial satellite data in understanding activity on Earth. For industries managing complex infrastructure and emissions challenges, that same data can support better awareness, faster response, and stronger operational decision-making.
