The SNITCH™ provides real-time monitoring of methane and associated hydrocarbons at the thief hatch to measure and characterize emissions events – correlating them with process conditions. By identifying deviations from vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE), the system enables operators to maintain optimal separator set-points, reduce unnecessary venting, and recover saleable hydrocarbons that would otherwise be lost (e.g., natural gas liquids; NGLs).


The SNITCH™ detects and characterizes emission events at the source, transforming tank-top activity into actionable operational data. By correlating pressure and gas concentrations with separator and dump-cycle behavior, the system provides a closed-loop perspective of the production process.
